Routing - the date sea routes are worked out for

Changing the date leaves existing paths as they are. Right-click a path and choose Re-route to route it for the new date.

Port and place names on the map follow View ▸ Settings.

Path View - how high the eye stands over each kind of path, and how far below the way ahead it looks

Render distance - how far off the ground is drawn when the view is low, on the map and in Path View

Cache - what the map, its 3D and its data fetch is kept here, so it is there at once the next time; when it is full, what is asked for least goes first
